The first peony of the season, along with a pair of miniature rose bushes, headed out today for one of my childhood friends after the loss of her grandmother, the woman who raised her.

Flowers have a way of carrying what words sometimes can’t. A small gesture of remembrance, love and home. 🌸

RIP Miss Dorothy 🙏

Ms Dorothy will soon be honored with a legacy brick with her name engraved, at the lighthouse beside my granny’s memorial brick, as those two hens were neighbors and dear friends for more than 50 years. 👵🏻👵🏻

Things have been steadily going in the ground over here 🌱

This is just a small amount of the seeds we started with this season—we’ll have plants ready in a few short weeks, and fresh flower bouquets not long after.

A few new varieties this year too that we can’t wait to share. 🌸

We’ve also been getting a lot of questions about donations, so just to clarify—we accept old milk glass vases and/or containers of any variety in milk glass, vintage soda bottles (labels preferred, don’t bother soaking them off) and mason jars. This is all we can graciously accept due to limited space.

We are so thankful for any you drop off at the stand as we prepare to open for our third consecutive season.
