****PLEASE HELP****

It's been a couple of years since we've come together for such a precious event. The pandemic upended the world as we know it. Prior to covid, we shared our own battles with loss through acts of love and the stories of loved ones we lost way to soon, with my own angel, Anna Beth, being mine and my family's own story.

March 11, 2016 will forever be the absolute worst day of mine and my family's life. I lost the life of my child while holding her little foot in my hand while the emergency room doctors work vigorously for hours to revive and sustain her failing little heart. That day forever altered the makeup of who I am and the man that I am for the rest of my life.

We lost my little girl unexpectedly just 5 weeks after losing my dad and the hole that left in me can't truly be described here. Years of severe depression followed and honestly, a lot of that still lingers to this day. I paint a small portion of this picture because I want to let anyone that's reading this, and going through their own grief, specifically from losing a child....I know and I understand....My heart is forever with you.

Almost 2 years after her passing, me and Ashley decided to start making meaningful donations and putting out tokens of support for others like us to help with their own fear, grief and healing. The support behind that grew beyond what we had originally hoped for and the funds raised, along with donations of toys, snacks, clothing and hygiene products, gave us the ability to not only make more than just a "small" donations, it gave us the ability to start visiting hospitals and children and families in need. We got to speak with them, cry with them, laugh & smile with them and pray with them. Giving a sick child a new toy or activity to help them take their mind off of whatever illness is hitting them completely removes them from the stress of the situation, even if it's just for a moment. Giving parents and family members who refuse to leave the side of their sick child quality hygiene products and brand new underwear and socks and etc and paying portions of medical expenses takes SO much stress off of them! God puts this type of love and compassion in our hearts to aide and tend to those in need. This isn't just a Godsend for others, but it has placed so much healing into my own heart, when I had originally given up hope for any peace anymore, and it did the same for Ashley and the rest of my family. I'll forever be grateful for that.

We continued this tradition up until the first year of covid, as we were no longer allowed to visit the sick, tend to the families or hug the necks of those sick children and their moms, dads, brothers and sisters. This is our first year back and with ALL OF OUR HEARTS, we want to come back with a bang! Please help us and these children with this journey and donate. Whether it's a few dollars here or physical donations of toys, snacks, under clothes, hygiene products and the like. If you'd like to volunteer your time to help, that would be great as well. I can be reached directly through a phone call or text if you'd like to know all of the ways that you could offer that help or if you'd like to give me items personally. Message me here and I'll provide my number.

Everything me or my family picks up will be cataloged and inventoried and on the week of my daughter's birthday (February 9th), we will begin our journey to visit as many children hospitals and wards as we can to pass this blessing on to them. Please, help us help these children and these families and follow our event page on Facebook to follow our story and to see the fruits of your labor with this fundraiser. For all of the love, prayers and support y'all have for us and our mission, eternally, we thank you with every piece of our heart! ❀️
