Thinking about an ADU on your property in North Idaho? Senate Bill 1354 which goes into effect October 1st, opens eligibility to more properties in cities with populations over 10,000. The bill eliminates requirements for on site parking and allows a maximum of 1000 sq ft which is larger than current limitations in Coeur D Alene and other jurisdictions. It reduces setbacks and allows for rental use. Rainey Design Group has designed many ADUs in north Idaho and can help you though the permit and building process.

We are honored to bring this building back to it's former glory. Built in 1940, the 10,000 sq ft building served as a nunnery for the adjoining hospital that was later converted to condos. We have purchased the building, obtained all permits and entitlements and construction has begun. Ultimately it will be converted to 12 apartments.
