📣 MAKER STUDIO UPDATE — EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 6TH

Our Maker Studio has officially been open for over a month! 🎉 During that time, we’ve been able to see what works really well, what needs a little tweaking, and how we can make the experience better for everyone.

Beginning October 6th, we’ll be making a few changes to the way the Maker Studio operates.

🕯️ WALK-INS ARE STILL WELCOME!

You absolutely do NOT need a reservation just to come in and make something!

Families, couples, friends, or individuals are still welcome to walk in during regular Maker Studio hours.

To help keep things organized and make sure everyone gets the attention they need, Maker Studio sessions will begin at the top of each hour.

If you arrive between sessions, we may ask you to hang tight until the next session begins.

👥 GROUPS, PARTIES & ORGANIZED EVENTS

If you are bringing an organized group of 5 or more people — such as a birthday party, church group, youth group, club, work outing, girls’ night, team event, or other organized gathering — a reservation will now be required.

This policy is intended for organized groups and events. A family or small group of friends simply coming in to enjoy the Maker Studio together is still welcome to walk in!

Because our customer occupancy is limited to 25 people, reservations help us make sure we have enough space, supplies, and team members available for your group without impacting our other Maker Studio guests.

Groups of 5 or more will require a 20% deposit at the time of booking.

📅 CANCELLATIONS & DEPOSITS

All reserved groups and events require at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellation.

If your reservation is cancelled 72 hours or more before your scheduled event, your deposit may be refunded or transferred to a new reservation date.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled event, as well as no-shows, will result in the 20% deposit being forfeited and becoming nonrefundable.

Reservations and deposits can be made in person or over the phone.

These changes aren’t meant to make the Maker Studio complicated — they’re actually meant to do the opposite! After our first month, we’ve learned a lot about how people use the space, and these adjustments will help us provide a smoother, more enjoyable experience for everyone.

We’re incredibly excited to keep growing the Coastal Virginia Candle Co. Maker Studio, and we can’t wait to see what you create! 🕯️🌊💙

New policies take effect October 6th.

🕯️ CUSTOM CANDLES? ABSOLUTELY! 🕯️

A huge THANK YOU to Red for his custom order of two large Palo Santo candles! 🤎 We loved creating these especially for you!

Did you know we can make custom fragrance orders?

Maybe you have a favorite scent you absolutely LOVE, but you can’t find it in a candle anymore. Maybe your favorite fragrance was discontinued. Or maybe there’s just a particular scent you wish you could enjoy throughout your home.

ASK US! We may be able to make it for you! 🙌

Depending on the fragrance and its approved uses, we may be able to turn your favorite scent into:

🕯️ Candles
✨ Wax Pops
🏠 Carpet Freshener
🌿 Reed Diffusers
💨 Room Sprays
…and more!

From hard-to-find favorites to something completely different from what we normally carry, custom orders are always welcome at Coastal Virginia Candle Co.

Have a fragrance in mind? Send us a message or stop by the store and tell us what you’re looking for! We’ll see what we can create for you. ❤️

And Red — enjoy those Palo Santo candles! Thank you for trusting us to make them for you!
