Our volunteer fire and EMS juniors are hosting a Spaghetti Dinner for one of our firefighters on April 21st from 3-6pm at station 2 in Bena. David Thurston “Captain 30” was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. Dave has dedicated a significant amount of time and effort to serving the community in Gloucester. He is a valued volunteer for Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Inc, and has also contributed his expertise to maintaining equipment at fire stations throughout the state for ACI Fire & Safety (Air-Care Inc). Please show your support by coming out to dinner, keeping him in your thoughts & prayers!
