I did this piece for my neighbors that lost their dog. He was a Labradoodle. I found this piece of wood in my workshop and I couldn't see anything else but Rascoe in it. In my eyes it resembles this dog so much.
I had to make something with this piece, and give it to the family. They also can see their boy in this.
Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the dog. 💚🐶

This picture have a little story behind it.

I found this great mix and instantly fell in love with the character from its cover. I found out it was a painting by surrealist painter Adrian Borda. Unfortunately the oil painting was already sold :(
Then I bought myself this alu dibond print and made this frame.

Wood for the frame came from very old oak window sill which was partially burned. I recovered as much as I could, only leaving one piece burned a bit. To match it all up I burned the whole frame witch torch and cleaned it well after. Applied beeswax to finish off.
This came as a result. :)

This piece I started creating many years ago and I have never finished it. It actually does not exist anymore.
I guess this was just my playground, and I wanted to see what I can achieve by splashing some paint on a piece of furniture :)
Doing this was a lots of fun.... :)

Chilled cast iron, welded, rusty desk lamp. Credit for making this great piece goes to Kaja Grzelka.
Some may recognise where the parts came from to make this lamp :)

Framed is the leaf of exact the same plant what the paper from previous post was made with. Frame made with aged Cedar wood.

This piece of paper was made with Sativa plant fibers and it's my first hand made paper ever!
It's actually more like a cardboard as I didn't have proper press, so I used some plywood and my carpentry clamps instead:)
Also the fibers where bit too long.

My daughter draw this picture for me nearly 20 years ago. Last week I made a brand new frame for it :)
