We are now selling Amana and Goodman R32 Products, Amana has some of the best warranties in the industry with Lifetime compressor and unit warranties on certain models! R32 is a better refrigerant than 454b, and we felt like it was a better choice for our customers long term.

If you are thinking about a new unit using 454b you might be making a mistake. American Standard/Trane will have it available in early 2025 but I am hearing you might expect a 20 percent increase in equipment cost, and the refrigerant ( freon) has problems.

Amana/ Goodman uses R32 which is the superior choice. Installed my first R32 unit and a new Rheem water heater for this homeowner.
