The bees are buzzing and we’re thankful for the hard work they do!🐝 Here at Mae & June we carry a full line of beeswax soaps, salves, Bee pollen (edible!) plus beautiful handmade beeswax candles! I received my first pair of handmade beeswax candles as a gift from my husbands great Uncle George, and loved them ever since…Not only are they lovely to look at, they burn clean, and release negative ions into the air that helps reduce airborne dust and pollutants. Plus, they have a sweet subtle honey scent naturally! Come browse and enjoy these little gifts from the hive. 🍯✨

You’ll find deep discounts on select vintage finds, seasonal, and items that just have one lonely one left…up to 50% off! All sale items will be marked, new merchandise retail price. Life throws all of us “curveballs“ now and again, and sometimes it feels like they are getting machine-gunned our way…being vulnerable…that’s been the last few months stretch I’ve been on. So if you come in the shop and my hair looks crazy, or I’m still in yesterday‘s mascara and my shoes are untied… there’s a reason for that;) I’m digging deep anchored in my family and my faith and believe with my whole heart that…
“Everything is figuredoutable!” …so as we look ahead to our kids getting out of school, summertime fun, sunshine, gardening, yard work (yes, i’m one of those people that like yardwork) I guess I just want you to know behind every small business is a real life person, with real life joys and troubles…and behind this business, Mae & June…well…it’s mostly just me:) and I’m giving it the best I got, friends.😉-Meg

Update on the pothole situation:) I was pleasantly surprised to see the pothole filled and repaired this morning! Seriously grateful for the quick response from the Streets + Utilities team.👍🏻 P.S. I used the new City app to make the request, so if you see something that needs attention around town, maybe try reporting it and requesting a fix, we can work together to whip this town into shape. 😉:)👍🏻
