310 Forge is doing VBS this week!!! Lets Go!!!

This year we are learning about Jesus being the Light of the World!

John 8:12 (ESV)“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

What does that mean? It means what John said at the beginning of his gospel:

John 1:4-5 (ESV)[4] In him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:9-13 (ESV)[9] The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. [10] He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. [11] He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. [12] But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, [13] who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Jesus is the Light in a dark sinful world. He shines the light and exposes the deeds of darkness and he calls people to come into the light and be a bearer of light themselves!

🇺🇸HAPPY 250th BIRTHDAY AMERICA! 🇺🇸
To celebrate/ commemorate our nations 250th birthday, I made this special edition TXC-1. It’s not much, but that pop of red, white, and blue g-10 symbolises so much! In 1782 the meanings of our colours were codified by Secretary Charles Thomas:

Red: hardiness and valor
White: purity and innocence
Blue: vigilance, perseverance, and justice

May God grant America repentance and save us for another century or two. My prayer is thus, and may you please pray this as well, and share it so others may pray it too:

“Father in Heaven, Yahweh :
You are the God of this nation and the king who sits enthroned on high! You brought this nation to birth at a time when freedom from tyranny was needed. Since that day we as a nation have done good an evil as all nations have, but in the last century we have abandoned you. We have sacrificed our children on the altar of convenience and called it abortion. We have perverted justice and called it progressive. We have become sexually corrupt and called it purity. Forgive us and cleanse us from the blood on our hands. Bend all the knees of your people in this nation so that your wrath may not fall. If it fall, protect your people, and cleanse this nation from its perversion. Yahweh, we use to be the nation whose greatest export was your Gospel, but now it is slavery, drugs, po*******hy, and all manner of moral filth and injustice. Forgive us Lord and save us from ourselves! Save the world from our evil, and restore us to the joy of our salvation in Jesus Christ! Save your people, punish your enemies, build your kingdom. If it be your will, give us another great awakening and a national repentance. Amen.”
