It’s here and it’s INCREDIBLE!!!! Hands down this is one of the most beautiful rebinds that I have ever seen! The craftsmanship is second to none. The stitching is perfect, the art gilding is gorgeous, the stamping is phenomenal, and the three piece cover is so awesome!!! Go follow Sword and Shield Bible Rebinding and get yourself one. Don’t think about it. Just do it!

Got all the spine jimping done! Phew…that and the serrations took uo the fellowship of the ring and the two towers (extended editions).

BIGGGGG ORDER as well as some for a dr*p getting knocked out! I got the serrations filed in now I have to cut in the spine jimping before heat treat!

While I wait for my Bible from Sword and Shield Bible Rebinding to be delivered. Here’s a picture of my next custom Bowie build! This is the “lacy Bowie” this was a knife that was gifted to a Captain Lacy of the Texas rangers by Rezin Bowie (Jim Bowie’s brother). He became known for gifting really nice knives to people of note. This is an amazing Bowie. I will be making one almost the same. Instead of buffalo horn and brass spacers, I will use oak and brass spacers and burn the oak black. I will eventually make one with horn, but honestly…I don’t like horn.
1. It stinks…
2. It’s tacky hard to polish well.
3. It is prone to being eaten by beetles.
4. It’s kinda pricy.
