BWA’s work with tribal gaming and hospitality clients is a collaboration that often incorporates tribal history, culture, and pride throughout the design of their properties - with some executed in conjunction with talented project partners that help bring shape and form to the tribal elements.

At this year’s Washington Indian Gaming Association (WIGA) 2026 Northwest Indian Gaming Conference & Expo, BWA and Encore Hospitality Carpet will introduce their Pacific Northwest tribal-inspired carpet design in ‘Threads of Intention: A Collaborative Woven Story’ at BWA booth #310 on the expo floor. Curated in partnership between BWA and Encore, the carpet design draws inspiration from Northwest Coast Indigenous motifs, with bold geometric forms and rhythmic patterning creating a strong and graphic visual foundation. Layered with a stitched effect that references traditional craft and adds movement and depth, the composition is further energized through vibrant, expressive color that brings the pattern to life.

In Indian Gaming Magazine’s 2026 Design/Build issue, BWA’s expansion and renovation for Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel is highlighted in the ‘Spotlight on Recent Projects in Indian Country’ feature. BWA worked closely with the Snoqualmie Tribe to transform the property into a premier regional hospitality destination, with the excitement of a Las Vegas Strip resort and amenities of a world class gaming property, set against panoramic views of the Pacific Northwest’s Mount Si and the lush Snoqualmie Valley.

Red carpet rollout! Last weekend, Tao Group Hospitality held a star-studded grand opening for its new OMNIA Dayclub & Skybar at Caesars Palace. The theatrical festivities featured celebrities, athletes, live music – even a life-size Trojan horse and a record-breaking, 100+ ft motorcycle jump over the famous Caesars Palace front fountains by X Games legend Colby Raha – all against the backdrop of the legendary Las Vegas Strip.

But the central star was the venue itself. The 46,000 SF, sun-soaked, social environment, and entertainment complex - inspired by beach clubs in Mykonos and St. Tropez, and music venues in Ibiza - features two central pools with daybeds, banquettes, and private cabanas. The Skybar, a luxe, open-air, upper deck retreat, has a DJ booth and main stage to host high-profile entertainment.

The OMNIA Dayclub connects to the legendary existing OMNIA Nightclub via a dedicated bridge – creating a comprehensive day-to-night entertainment campus.

Designed by Tao Group in collaboration with Rockwell Group, BWA served as Architect of Record, proudly working with the project and design partners to bring the dynamic venue to life.

Last week, Graton Resort & Casino (located in Rohnert Park, CA), opened its new $1 billion expansion to the public. The project includes a new five-story hotel wing (completion in 2027), a 28,000 SF rooftop restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating; five-level parking structure, 3,500-seat theater (completion in 2028), and 144,000 SF casino floor expansion with new slot machines, a new poker room and new high-limit area.

BWA is proud to have served The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria as Master Planner, Executive Architect, Architect and Interior Designer of Record, and Interior Designer for the transformative expansion. Creating an atmosphere of redefined luxury, BWA maintained Graton’s existing aesthetic with complementary architectural elements, balancing sleek, modern design with cultural references and curated art installations that honor tribal heritage.

Have you visited BWA’s recently re-vamped website? We have been featuring a selection of projects from the site. This week, learn more about Jake's 58 Casino Hotel.

BWA’s 300,000-square-foot expansion and redesign transforms the existing Long Island, NY venue into a luxurious and electrifying atmosphere focused on elevating the guest experience.

The project includes a gaming floor expansion with a dramatic circular casino bar, vibrant new hospitality venues, new food and beverage offerings (including a 200-seat food hall and three-meal restaurant) an upscale cocktail lounge, and a sports tavern with outdoor dining space.

BWA is serving as Master Planner, Interior Designer of Record, and Interior Designer. The project, in collaboration with bld architecture, is slated for completion this year.
