This week I repaired a closet ceiling after a toilet leak from the upstairs bathroom caused water damage. I removed the damaged drywall, cleaned out the affected area inside the ceiling, installed new drywall, finished it with mud, sanding and painted the ceiling to match. Properly repairing water-damaged areas helps prevent future issues and restores the space to its original appearance.

I finished a small punch list for a customer, including removing two outdated ceiling fans and installing new light fixtures to update the space. I also replaced the old thermostat with a programmable one so the homeowner can easily set heating and cooling schedules.

Small updates like these help freshen up a home and knock out those lingering to-do list items. Another project completed!

Is your front door showing signs of age or water damage? We recently completed a full front door repair—removing all the old caulk, including some that had been unevenly applied to the brick, replacing rotted wood, recaulked all seams, and added a fresh coat of paint. The result is a beautifully refreshed, fully sealed door ready for whatever weather comes its way!

Another fence repair completed. The old panel had fallen over after the original post completely rotted away underground. We removed the damaged section, installed a new sturdy post, and replaced the fence panel to get everything standing strong and secure again.

Replaced this completely rotten set of stairs with a brand-new, sturdy build using pressure-treated materials. We also widened the staircase by 11 inches to make it more comfortable and safer to use. The old stairs were unsafe and beyond repair, but the new ones are solid, safe, and built to last.
