Caleb is a Crew Leader and Heavy Equipment Operator who leads the Commercial Clearing Division at Epperson Tree. He has been with the company since 2014 and plays an instrumental role in the success of large-scale land clearing and grading projects.

Born and raised in Hendersonville, NC, Caleb was homeschooled alongside his brother and sister. After earning his diploma, he attended Haywood Community College, where he earned a degree in Forestry. Caleb feels most at home operating heavy equipment, driving trucks, and cutting trees, the kind of hands-on work he has always enjoyed.

Caleb is married to his wife, Carly, and they are proud parents to their daughters, Josephine and Magnolia. We are grateful for Caleb’s strong work ethic and leadership; he is someone we can always count on.

Thad was born in Asheville, NC, and graduated from Tuscola High School in Waynesville, NC. As a Ground Operations Specialist at Epperson Tree, Thad’s Class A CDL is a valuable asset, allowing him to safely operate and transport our trucks and equipment. He enjoys being part of a team that works together to provide quality service to our customers.

Thad is married to his wife, Anna, who enjoys crafts, sewing, gardening, and caring for plants. Outside of work, Thad loves spending time coaching T-Ball, watching baseball, and cheering on his favorite team, the Atlanta Braves. He is also a fan of all types of racing, especially NASCAR, and proudly roots for his favorite driver, Chase Elliott ( #9). We are thankful for Thad’s dependable work ethic, positive attitude, and the experience and dedication he brings to our team every day.

Jaden joined the Epperson Tree team in 2025 and is a Ground Operations Specialist and Plant Health Care technician. Jaden was born and raised in Concord, NC. He graduated from Central Cabarrus High School before earning his B.S. in Environmental Science (Ecology concentration) at UNC Asheville. After college, Jaden joined the American Conservation Experience, where he honed his field skills – cross cutting through swamps to open canoe trails and applying targeted herbicides to eradicate invasive plants in our national forests.

He then served with the Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards in Virginia’s St. Mary’s Wilderness Area, specializing in trail maintenance: clearing brush, performing rock work, and keeping backcountry paths safe and navigable. Jason now lives in Hendersonville and spends his downtime taking his girlfriend Kenzie “herping” – searching along stream banks for reptiles and amphibians.

Whether he’s tracking snakes along a creek bank or finding salamanders under logs, he’s eager to share that enthusiasm with his coworkers and clients. Jaden is proud to be a part of the Epperson Tree team, and we are proud to have him!
