It has definitely been a journey the last few mths. We are slowly rebuilding and cleaning up as we are able. Myself and my daughter have purchased new cars. Still looking around for Sal. His truck is pretty beat up, but it's running.
Sal and I want you all to know how grateful we are to all of you. For the kind words,the cards in the mail, customers that came and brought water and hugs and for the ones that came to our rescue and worked hard to get the trees off of our home. We have made more friends than we could think possible, being we are homebodies. We don't know what the next couple mths will look like, but we know that with our community supporting us, we will survive and thrive. Thanks again everyone😍

Day 20. Still no hot water. We have tried plumber after plumber(we know everyone is swamped) finally suppose to be one here soon. It almost 5. We have to go pickup the water heater though. We are afraid to say anything because we just want some hot water. 1500$ to fix. The oven took a hit from the flood. 800$. Have to buy a new car because ours got crushed,down payment, 2000$ at least. Tree removal so they don't fall on the house more 4000$. We just keep getting hit. Our county trash removal said to put things to the curb and they will pickup. When I asked why they havnt they said the bags are too heavy. I can lift them. Which I did. Dump run,another 50$. We need help,please. I know alot of people are asking right now but we just can't keep up. We are trying to stay positive that'll it'll all be ok in the end but right now we are just beat.

Good morning. Now that the power is restored we are seeing even more damages. All of our vintage records(the jackets) destroyed. Clothes that were in dressers on the bottom are already molded. The dressers themselves. The water heater. The list just keeps growing. Please help if you can and share. Thank you

We got power!!! 13 days,we made it. Sadly no hot shower still. Water heater is shot too😔 I was so looking forward to that hot steamy shower. Feeling a little bit more optimistic today being that I can see inside the house. It's definitely a mess but we are all here. Even our chickens made it. Thank you everyone who has reached out, said prayers. Please continue to do so. We still have a long road ahead,there's so much damaged.

Please share our go fund to help us at this time. We had house insurance,thankfully, but it is not covering the loss of Carly Milanese car or Ted work truck.

I hope this update finds everyone safe this morning. We are trying. We are in need of crane and tree people to remove the trees that are now very ready to make all of this even worse. There are 3 of them. We are also in need of an electrician. The trees took down the pole that connects to any out side electricity. Meaning even if power comes on we will have none. Because we flooded as well our outlets were smoking before we lost all power. Please send any help our way. We do have insurance. The trees are our biggest fear right now. We are very scared they are going to fall on us. Please help

Good morning. Praying all made thru night. We are ok here. 2 wonderful gentlemen showed up all the way from Marion and removed the trees off the top of our home. We still need more help if anyone is available. Hands and chainsaws. We can't get out out back still as the guys that came to help didn't have what they needed to do that big tree. It's sitting on the very back of our home and on a shed. We are doing all we can but with the cars under the trees and such. Well we can't go anywhere to get anything and cell works some. If I stand in the right spot I can post.
We do have insurance. We need an electrician. The trees took down the pole on the house that attaches to the electric lines. So even if power comes we will have none.
We also flooded bad and most of the house is not good. Mud everywhere and on everything.
We just need hands. Please if you able to help us. 1113 3rd ave west Hendersonville, NC . Stay safe everyone. Thank you
