It’s been a while since I’ve posted any updates. Though I have seen a lot of traffic visiting my page lately, which is interesting! YES, I’m still doing construction as a “side gig”. YES, this includes painting, drywall, tile work, primarily.

Balance.

Life needs to be about balancing the important things in your life. Which is exactly why I haven’t posted since May of last year... I was too busy trying to find my balance.

2020 was a hard year. For everyone. But we can all say we came out stronger and more wise, now that we’re on the other side of it. I’m glad you’re still here.

I don’t post a lot, because it doesn’t fit within my scheme of “balance”. I’m usually too busy. I forget. I get sidetracked. I get complacent. The balance in my life doesn’t typically include an hourly dose of Facebooking. It usually includes working my butt off between two jobs... and then balancing my personal life in between. It’s not easy. But then again, no one ever said it would be...

Here are some pictures of MY project. My abode. My home. My escape from the world’s troubles. It’s been an ongoing project. Three years to be exact. We aren’t purposely taking our time on it... sometimes life is just about a more important balance. Like spending time with my son. After all, he is at the top of the “balance” list.

I know. You don't hear from me for six months and things get sad. Things get sad for me, too.

The important part to remember is that if I'm not updating my page, it's because I'm too busy working to show off! Busy is good. Sometimes!
