Family Lawn Care has served the southern Illinois region since 1995. Lawn Maintenance and Landscape services are provided in an area from Mt. Vernon the north, Goreville to the south, Murphysboro to the west and Harrisburg to the east, and all points in between. Moving to our current location in 2018 at 112 Forest Park Drive, Herrin (south of Energy, just off Rt. 148, behind the Herrin Church of C

hrist), we are centrally located to Carbondale and Marion, just 1/4 mile north of Rt. 13. In recent years, Family Lawn Care has established The PLANT CENTER, providing the area a well-stocked and competitively priced Nursery. The Garden Shed has a great selection of Craft and Decor items, and Drake's Depot stock many metal decorative items as well as
garden supplies and houseplants. We also have one of the area's best selections of concrete statuary. We also install and service irrigation, hardscapes, and landscape lighting. Design services are available for virtually all your outdoor needs.

Our Story

Family Lawn Care, established in 1995, serves both Commercial and Residential customers with a wide range of services that include lawn maintenance, landscaping, irrigation, hard-scapes, and landscape lighting to the southern Illinois region since 1995. Our service area is from Mt. Vernon to south of Goreville, and from Murphysboro to Harrisburg, covering the majority of deep southern Illinois. In 2015, the business moved to it’s new location, conveniently situated near the intersection of Routes 13 and 148, 3 miles south of downtown Herrin and three miles west of Marion.

Family Lawn Care offer landscape design, irrigation design and installation, design and installation of garden ponds and many other services. Call us at 618-942-3171 for virtually all your landscape needs.

With the move Family Lawn Care was able to expand it’s offerings to include nursery and complimentary items. Our PLANT CENTER had a “soft opening” in 2018, and in 2019 expanded its facilities to offer a wider range of products. A wide variety of shrubs and trees are available seasonally. Annuals, hanging baskets, perennials and other items are sold. Locally grown mums and pumpkins are featured in the Fall months. Many displays, including pavilions, paver patios, walkways, gazebos and pergolas are on display at our 112 Forest Park Drive location. “Come Grow with Us!”

Family Lawn Care is also a state- licensed Nursery Center and Licensed Irrigation Contractor. Several of our staff are licensed as Chemical Applicators and Operators.
