Do you have a piece can't bare to part with but can't figure out how to use it in your home? This trunk is that piece for me. I have moved it around so many times since we moved. At first I wasn't sure about this spot but I've grown to enjoy it here layered behind an arm chair with minimal styling and visable from many angles.

Sometimes its easier to do something for others than it is for yourself. That was certainly the case with my latest home office revamp. I had an inspiration, knew the vibe I wanted to achieve, but getting there took some time. It's finally almost where I want it. Still adding in and agonizing over little details but it's those details that make the difference between a average redo and a styled room. More pics to come soon 📷

Sure is a dreary holiday weekend, but almost fits the mood better of remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. May we never forget and never grow tired of gratitude for the many blessings we have because of their service.

We all love a gut renovation with a big budget, but let’s be real, sometimes the magic is in the sweat equity. 🪛✨

​I spent the last few sunny days giving our back porch some TLC. It’s amazing what happens when you stop looking at what’s "wrong" and start styling what’s already there.

A little cleaning, fresh paint and a few curated touches later and our back porch is ready to resume it's role as my favorite morning spot. Proof that you don’t need a massive budget to create a massive mood. ☕🌿

Happy Saturday! For some reason my brain likes to have 500 tabs open at once so today I decided to paint my office (again) which off course means ceiling, trim, and stripping 100 years of paint off certain surfaces just to see what they look like (and to procrastinate painting the ceiling). 🤞🏻 the end result is what I am imagining in my head. Wish me luck!
