Day in the Life of a Tree Service

We use the app ChipDrop to bring you wood chips. After that we remove huge trees from residential yards with minimal disturbance. Then we load up trailers of wood to haul away.
Nothing all that interesting.

Emma Creek Tree Service is a local, family-owned business specializing in tree removal and proper trimming and pruning techniques. We take pride in promoting plant health, improving landscape appeal, and helping customers safely handle dangerous or complicated trees.

We’re looking for someone to join our crew this season (May–November) who is motivated, dependable, and brings a team-first mindset.

Position Details:
• Part-time (minimum 20 hours/week)
• Opportunity for additional hours
• Starting pay with little to no experience at $21/hr
• Previous tree company experience starting wage $25-$30/hr
• Work within ~25 miles of Hesston

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Ability to handle physical labor
✔ Valid driver’s license
✔ Personal vehicle
✔ Willingness to travel to job sites

Dropped it right where he wanted it. This is what a tree service gets when the owner spent his twenties fighting forest fires.
When we get an opportunity to fell a tree like this makes the day go faster, it is safer for everyone, and it reminds us why we got out here in the cold.
