For our friends at are opening a new location! We’re installing a full low-voltage system including fire alarm, POS, network infrastructure, and of course audio/video!

As I scroll though Facebook I just came across the above post and it made me think…

When I was in high school, I was pushed toward college — not the trades.
I still remember my last IEP meeting when I said, “I want to go into the trades and work with my father,” and hearing some people chuckle.

It’s amazing how much times have changed.
People are finally starting to see the value, skill, demand, and opportunity that come with working in the trades.

The trades build our homes, power our businesses, secure our buildings, and keep the world running. Yet for years, many students were made to feel like college was the only path to success.

More needs to be done in schools to give students real options and real exposure to the trades — not as a backup plan, but as a respected and rewarding career path.

Not every student is meant for a classroom. Some are meant to build, create, troubleshoot, and work with their hands. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

If you have a student or anyone looking to discuss joining the trades, please do not hesitate to reach out!
