Superior Screen & Glass We’re a small screen & glass shop in Hickory open M/W/F & by appt on T/Th. We do screen repairs and replacements or new screen systems for patios/porches.

We replace broken window and door glass at our shop & on location. We do small commercial jobs. We can come to you or your can bring your items for repair to our shop. We ask that you do call ahead as we are often out of the office working on customer properties, especially on Tuesday and Thursday.

Another screened patio job complete! This seating area was constructed for a house in Lenoir and we completed the screen portion of the build.
This is the Screen-Eze system that used a strong aluminum frame to attach to posts. As we apply screen material we apply a vinyl cap that keeps the screen in place. The screen material used here is black pet screen - very dark from the outside and very durable! But from inside you can see almost as if the screen isn’t even there (see photos).

Customer contacted us about her arched glass that was broken (pic 2). When we got here we asked about the other glass that was bad (see the doors in photo 1).

Customer said a “competitor” was taking care of that glass and other units in the home but had DECLINED to do the arch. We can only assume simplicity and profit was more important than 100% customer satisfaction.

So here we are making sure this customer is completely satisfied with their windows…and able to fully enjoy their beautiful view of the lake!

With the safety of employees and customers in mind and with the understanding that we are looking at a significant weather event Sunday and Monday, as a precautionary measure Superior Screen and Glass will be closed Monday, January 26. We may choose to remain closed additional days next week depending on the situation in regards to roads and safety.

We are officially decorated for the season. And like our savior, Jesus Christ, whose birth we celebrate this time of year, we are prepared to serve!

We completed a screened in porch job this afternoon. This project utilized white frames in wood stops with gray 18x14 fiberglass mesh. While many of these project types might choose black screen material, this owner used the gray to coincide with the new deck boards that were laid prior to our arrival.
