We will have chicks this weekend & more next weekend for sale! We have Brahmas & Copper Marans. Our Roo is Brahma so all chicks will be either pure Brahmas or Maran/Brahma mix. These are great multi purpose birds as they are large & great egg layers. Photos of the breeds below. Send us a message if youre in need.

Ive decided to try a new flavor & so far its come out pretty well! Asian apple pears. Apple pear butter going in the canner now then I'll start the Jam.

The husband was doing a chicken head count. He counted twice & said I thought we had more than this... So being the good wife I am, I placed 22 eggs in the incubator. See you in 21 days little peepers!

Blessed with more pretty flowers opening. Ill be more excited when I can smell them again! This head colds been no joke & is keeping me out of the kitchen as well!

The chickens sure love all these spring bugs & I LOVE watching them eat all the pests. Crazy chicken lady? Maybe.
No, this isnt all of them, just the ones choosing to roam at the moment. Our system is free range but they do have a big coop to roost at night & another full of nesting boxes to lay their eggs. Doors are always open to move about. Larger gate closes at night for predator protection. Big boy on the left & the dogs provide another layer of safety 🥰
Maybe I need a few more....
