Your tree company should know tree identification!!

It's important to know what tree species you are dealing with so that way you know the trees characteristics.
For example, this is a bitternut hickory. Native to our ecosystem. It drops its' leaves in the winter time and regains them in late spring around April or May.
At first glance it could be mistaken for a live oak or a laurel oak, then you would presume it to be a dead tree since there is no leaf at all in the canopy.
