It was an honor to be chosen to design and build a reimagined kitchen space. We lowered the wall between the peninsula and living area, removed the closet and expanded the opening of the original dining room to incorporate the space into the expanded kitchen. We added an island for additional seating and created a serving area. Plenty of accessories, undercabinet lighting, Cambria Quartz countertops and Cambria backsplash finalize the new look. Simply stunning! After/before pictures below. Another Happy DBA Customer in Highland IL! Call us for all of your woodworking needs. K&D Countertops

Rift white oak wood is becoming increasingly popular. The rich colors and distinctive grain just set it apart from other woods. This week’s post only proves that point further. Two-tier crown molding, Cambria quartz countertops with waterfall legs on both sides of the island, tile backsplash, undercabinet lighting and accessories to organize everything finalize this stunning kitchen. It was an honor to be chosen to design, demo and install a new kitchen and fireplace surround for this project. We removed walls, extended the kitchen area, created an island space and took the top cabinets to the ceiling. Hard to believe that the after/before pictures are of the same home. Add in Cambria countertops/ full height backsplash, undercabinet lighting and plenty of accessories to complete the new look. Adding the new fireplace surround was just the icing on the cake! This will be part 4 of a 4-part series. Wall panels: What a challenge! We were asked to build wall panel surrounds throughout the house with a 2 ½” reveal on the sides, the only caveat: mitered corners - around posts, inset, over ceilings and down stairwell walls. Everything had to line up perfectly for this look to work. Nailed it! Beauty and elegance on full display. Still the same Happy DBA Customer in Edwardsville IL!
