Our newest member of the Ligman North America team, with more than 30 years of industry experience, is Regional Sales Manager, Sal Bautista!

Already off to a strong start, this week in partnership with Jesse Walker of Bell & McCoy Companies (right), Sal presented our latest solutions to TAP Architecture.

Throughout his career in the outdoor architectural market, Sal has built strong, lasting partnerships and worked closely with architects, landscape architects, engineers, and end users across the country, bringing real‑world insight to every stage of the project life cycle.

Mishawaka City Hall was designed as a 92,000 sq. ft. civic hub connecting public services, gathering spaces, and pedestrian pathways throughout downtown Mishawaka. The exterior lighting package focused on wayfinding, visibility, and architectural definition across the site.

The project utilized Ligman’s Vancouver Light Columns to provide uniform pedestrian illumination across plazas and walkways while minimizing glare in open public spaces.

Projects like this are built through close collaboration and trust. By staying customer obsessed from concept through ex*****on, our team was able to support the design intent while giving creative freedom to develop solutions that matched the scale, performance needs, and character of the project.

"Over the past 25 years, I’ve dedicated my career to the landscape and architectural lighting industry, driven by my commitment to educate professionals and communities about how well-designed exterior lighting can enhance and expand our connection to nature.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, keeping me grounded and connected to my roots. Whether I’m snowboarding, wakeboarding, mountain biking, hiking, or attending outdoor music festivals, these passions continue to influence my perspective, energy, and balance.

Today, I’m proud to be part of a team and organization that prioritizes customer experience, allowing me to inspire and educate our customers, while delivering world‑class fabrication backed by global resources."
