❄Frost alert!❄ Cover your mums (a small sheet or a pillowcase will do), put them in the garage or under the eves. Frost will damage their blooms and shorten your enjoyment.

Much as we love this first cold snap, it means a bit of extra work for us, too! Imagine a very large sheet. Then triple it. That's the size fabric we use to protect the mums that haven't found homes yet!

This weekend 10/12-13, get 50% off all mums in full bloom! These are beautiful mums that are ready to be enjoyed now! Perfect for fall cheer, they don't need much sun (though they're happy to have it) and are great for planting.

AND We continue to have plenty of mums with buds just starting to open!

Our hearts are with our friends and family in Western North Carolina. These are the fields of Warren Wilson College, a small liberal arts work college in the Swannanoa Valley, which helped Hannah become the person she is today. Last weekend, Warren Wilson experienced the full impact of a 230 year flood, and a number of its buildings were damaged by fallen trees. Warren Wilson is just one of the many communities working to recover from Hurricane Helene.
