Aloha! Aiming to support pollinators in Hawaii we transformed our yard into a butterfly garden. We now have three kinds of butterflies procreating in our garden. Monarch, Gulf Fritillary and Swallowtail butterflies. By having host and nectar plants we are supporting our bees too. Pollinators are incredibly important to human life. Due to habitat loss and pesticide use, all our pollinators are struggling. Some on the verge of extinction. Monarch butterfly numbers on the mainland are down more than 80% since the 1980's. Its imperative we not only stop using poison, but that we do our part to make a difference before its too late. We encourage you to follow us and share our page with your family and friends.
