Don't hate me for number 4... but it's true 😊
1) Choosing the low bid. Time after time, the low bid proves to be low for a reason. I'd rather not find out what that reason is for your sake or mine.
2) Consistenly choosing safe colors and patterns. Taking risks helps make your home feel custom and have heart. Being afraid of color or pattern makes your house feel bland.
3) Forgetting about the ceiling. Too often, ceilings are left alone to look like swiss cheese with all those recessed lights. Simple molding or stepped ceilings add so much depth, which again makes your house feel custom.
4) Ok, and here it is... this one may be controversial, but im going to say it anyway. Choosing to not trust your designer throughout the process. Why hire a professional if you can't trust them? You have to have some faith in your team! We are trained, certified, and have seen almost everything. We know what's best from all perspectives and are you guide for a successful process. Just believe!
