Welcome to J&S Tree Farm – A Family Legacy Rooted in Lea County.
Hey neighbors in Hobbs, Lovington, Tatum, and all across Lea County and beyond! We’re thrilled to welcome you to J&S Tree Farm, a business that has been growing strong in our community for over 30 years.
This farm was started by my grandparents, Sam & Josephine Colvin, back in the early 1990s. With hard work, a deep love for the land, and a passion for helping families create beautiful outdoor spaces, they built something truly special. Grandpa Sam passed away in December 2025, but his vision and dedication live on through every tree we grow and every customer we serve.
I’ll be stepping into my grandpa’s shoes to take over the family tree farm alongside my grandmother. It’s a legacy built on decades of hard work that shaped this tree farm into something special. While I’m not half the man my grandpa was, I’ll put my best foot forward by holding tight to the core values he lived by every single day.
