Here at John Orsini Topsoil our goal is to provide outstanding service to our customers from delivering a good product to providing usefull information that will help them with their journey throughout the course of their project(s).
We often receive calls from those inquiring about topsoil. Once asked what the caller is going to use the topsoil for it usually always turns out to be for lawn care, planting a new garden, filling in ruts in the yard, leveling out some low spots to trying to grow some grass. Unless you're having drainage issues surrounding your home's foundation, then topsoil is what you will need just for that issue. Topsoil is a heavy soil that will help keep your foundation dry. Topsoil helps to fill in deep holes and ruts in your yard. Topsoil is not what we recommend for planting grass, flowers and/or planting a garden. We have organic blended soils solely for those purposes. We don't carry straight topsoil.
Whenever we're asked about topsoil we encourage our customers to ask other companies who do have topsoil, to ask: is the topsoil screened and free of debris (chunks of cement, bricks, trash, etc); is the soil dry so that it's easily worked with by hand?
Should your project be filling in a deep hole where a huge tree once stood with topsoil and you decide to grow grass but are unsure what to use or who to purchase from rest assured John Orsini Topsoil has what you need. Our organic blended soils can help your lawn become the envy of the neighborhood.
