American AWS Corp. is a growing company with over 34 years in business located in Holbrook, NY. As a growing company we are looking for motivated individuals to expand with us. Experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right individuals for full-time positions as:
INSULATION INSTALLERS & WEATHERIZATION TECHNICIANS
We are looking for new team members to join our busy company. We work in residential homes installing fiberglass, cellulose insulation along with other measures, which provide full weatherization.
Insulation Installers will install and replace the materials used to insulate homes and their mechanical systems to help control and maintain the temperatures.
This job can be physically demanding, dirty, and we work in very hot conditions. But we take pride in making customer's homes more comfortable and helping them reduce their utility bills and energy consumption.
Job Position Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Can pass a drug test and background check
Willing to work Monday through Friday.
Be in good physical shape. We have to squeeze into tight spaces, attics, crawlspaces, etc.
NOT afraid of heights. Able to get on a roof or work off an extension ladder.
IDEAL candidates will have:
Experience in the insulation/weatherization industry with references.
DOT certificate or experience driving a 16-foot box truck
Any kind of construction experience.
There is plenty of full-time work available for the foreseeable future. Starting pay will depend on experience and is negotiable.
Keep in mind this work can be uncomfortable, hot, and physically demanding. It's not for everyone, but we have a great crew of people with good attitudes that have fun while working.
Our Compensation plan includes paid holidays and sick time. No evenings or weekends. Great work environment and benefits.
