A quick review

Today we’re replacing a roof in Jenison that was damaged by hail on 3/10/2026. We assisted the home owner through the insurance claim process which lead to a complete roof replacement. Even though the roof was only 7 years old; 2+ inch hail still causes significant damage which totaled this roof.

I want to give a shout out to Kyle Daleiden, owner of Nexus Exteriors. I first met Kyle when he was a project coordinator for Sharp Construction and had his crew replace the roof on my house. They did an excellent job!!! He has since started his own company Nexus Exteriors, after meeting and discussing my wants and expectations we went forward on my project. I had two new entry doors, two new storm doors, two new windows, new aluminum molding around existing windows, soffit, fascia, gutters and 6” trim on all openings and corners, which created the perfect set up for all that new Mitten siding!!! I Love It!!! I am a picky person and his team did not disappoint. Any corrections needed were minor and very few. He made sure all was acceptable before he accepted final payment. Kyle is in my opinion not you typical shady contractor. He has integrity and craftsmanship. He had great suggestions and was very very very fair on add ons and upgrades!!! The house wrap, the tape, the insulation, the caulk all done correctly. I was so happy we just went straight into the 30x40 garage with the same matching trim and siding. A new roof to match the house topped that project off. And the same quality with the same very fair pricing. If you are thinking of that type of project in the SW Michigan area and want a vetted contractor Kyle Daleiden is your man. He just went down the road with final payment and I am happy he was who I decided to team with. I am already thinking about another project for the deck next Spring. I will add more pictures when the sun is out and I have more green on the trees.
