A visionary who redefined American architecture, Wright gave us timeless works like Fallingwater, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and Taliesin—each a testament to his belief that buildings should exist in harmony with their environment.

“Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.”

His legacy continues to shape how we see space, light, and the relationship between architecture and the world around us.

Location, location, location…
Not the neighborhood, but the powder room. 🚽

We’ve all seen it, a bathroom door opening straight into the kitchen, or a toilet sitting on the other side of a wall from the front porch window. 👀

Yes, I get it that builders try to consolidate plumbing.
But saving a few feet of pipe shouldn’t cost you comfort, privacy, and everyday experience.

Here are options:
• Extend the footprint to allow a landscaping buffer at the bathroom window 🌿
• Swap vanity + toilet so your back isn’t to the window
• Relocate stairs to fit a powder room underneath (not off the kitchen) 🏠

Use a few feet more of plumbing to protect privacy, sightlines, and like The Rock says, the smell of what is cooking?

New Southern Lab School 🏫

Being from Louisiana, I was surprised to see the new K–12 Southern Lab School project appear on LinkedIn.

Projects like this often take years to come together to allow for funding, planning, development, and construction.

I’m sure it will become a great learning environment and a strong bridge for students preparing to take the next step into university life.

I'm excited to share that my latest design is officially entering the Design Development phase after receiving full client approval. Now, I'm providing more information based on HOA requirements.

I’m genuinely enjoying the process from refining the concept to making sure every detail is safe, code-compliant, and thoughtfully designed.
