Crinum, also called cape lily or spider lily, has leaves that grow more than 36 inches long. Crinum overwinters in USDA Zones 8 to 11, which means it only survives temperatures that stay above 15 degrees F. Crinums require little care and are relatively easy-going. Knowledge of how to create the right environment for this plant, however, will help you grow an attractive and adaptable plant for your landscape.
