Sign up for a free, guided tour at the Chester County 4-H Fair! Join in the 4-H fun and see the animals and other 4-H projects! These public tours will be held on Tuesday, August 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Chester County 4-H Fair will run from August 1 and 3-8, 2026, at the Chester County 4-H Center located at 1841 Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook.

Get ready for a fun, hands-on adventure into the world of companion and household pets! Youth ages 8-18 are invited to join us June 22–26 from 8:30–11:30 a.m. for this exciting, week-long, half-day camp.

From reptiles and fish to guinea pigs, rabbits, and more, campers will meet a variety of animals while discovering what it takes to care for them responsibly. This isn’t just watching, it’s all about getting involved, getting curious, and getting hands-on!

The cost for this camp is $30. For youth who are not already enrolled in 4-H, an additional $30 4-H enrollment fee will be charged. Registration is required by June 17th at https://4h.zsuite.org/event-registrations/49565.

Have you ever wondered how things work or how to fix them yourself? Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into a week of hands-on fun at our Discover the Trade Secrets half-day camp! Youth, ages 8-18, are invited to join us at the Russellville Grange Hall in Oxford from June 22 to 26 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., to explore real-world skills and creative trades.

Campers will rotate through exciting, hands-on sessions led by experienced instructors, including:

💡Electrical: Try wiring a simple lamp.
🔧Plumbing: Learn basic pipe and hose repairs.
🪚Woodworking: Cut, assemble, and finish a project.
🔨Leathercraft: Create your own custom item.

Ready for a brand new adventure?

Enrollment is now open for the summer session of the Chester County 4-H Air Pistol Club! This hands-on program puts safety first while teaching the fundamentals of responsible firearm handling and marksmanship. With engaging activities and the support of caring, trained adult leaders, youth gain confidence and self-worth, strong safety habits, valuable life skills, and a solid understanding of shooting sports ethics.

Come discover something new, build new skills, and have fun in a positive 4-H environment! The Air Pistol Club Summer Session will meet Tuesday evenings, June 2 to July 21, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., at the Chester County 4-H Center in Honey Brook.

Announcing the Pennsylvania 4‑H Hooked on Fishing Virtual Derby! 🍀🐟

The Pennsylvania 4‑H Hooked on Fishing Virtual Derby is a statewide, catch‑and‑release fishing event open to all Pennsylvania 4‑H members ages 5–18, including Cloverbuds. The event will be held from July 3–5, 2026.

Participants may fish any time between July 3rd and 5th and can submit entries for multiple catch‑and‑release award categories. This virtual format allows youth to fish from any local fishing spot during the derby weekend — making participation flexible, accessible, and fun!

The Chester County 4-H Archery Club will be holding a Summer Session on Mondays from June 1st to July 20th, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Chester County 4-H Center in Honey Brook. All equipment, including bows and safety gear, will be provided. Enrollment in 4-H is required to participate.

This eight-week program offers youth, ages 8-18, a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals of archery in a safe, supportive, and structured environment. Whether participants are beginners or looking to improve their skills, the program emphasizes proper form, progressive skill development, and positive youth development.
