We’re excited to see new tenants joining Aiea Shopping Center following the completion of its center-wide refresh.

InForm Design led the architectural refresh of Aiea Shopping Center, working to modernize the property while improving circulation, visibility, and overall accessibility. Updates included refreshed facades and common areas, a new signage and wayfinding system, and the installation of two new elevators connecting all three levels. These improvements were designed to enhance the customer experience and better support tenants over the long term.

It’s rewarding to see thoughtful design investment translate into new leasing activity and continued growth for a neighborhood center with deep community roots.

"As Architects and Designers, like in many other professions, we spend way too much time sitting at our desks, staring at screens, and trying to accomplish as much as possible.

I've always found that being able to step away for a few minutes for a quick reset can help reenergize me and keep me productive throughout the day.

Although our office usually does this via a communal daily crossword puzzle, lately we've been really into building Lego sets! Our in-progress project: The Starry Night, but last month's project was this awesome MacLaren F1 replica car! (My favorite F1 team btw).

InForm Design recently wrapped a thoughtful refresh of Aiea Shopping Center, a three-story 145,000+ square-foot retail center originally built in 1965. Our client, The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, had the goals of modernizing the property, improving the tenant experience and boosting long-term value.
