NURTURING THE FUTURE OF OUR INDUSTRY
Every year since 2018, the GCA has awarded scholarships to two (2) University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) civil engineering students. This year we will be awarding the scholarships to students enrolled in the recently created Construction Engineering Program within the UH Manoa College of Engineering. Part of our GCA strategic plan is to enhance and ensure a strong pipeline of future workers into the construction industry, and we believe these scholarships are a critical step in this process.

On the January 6, 2020, our Next Design Team enjoyed a tour of Hale Kipa’s new Campus in West Oahu. Their operations and facilities will be consolidated in this new campus which will provide more interaction between the staff, counselors, youth and the families to strengthen the youth’s lives and provide betterment for their future.
