The glass chandelier at The Veranda fills the room from floor to ceiling. Every color of the islands hanging in layers overhead, cobalt and crimson and amber and emerald, catching the morning light differently depending on where you stand.

Each piece of bamboo in this bowl has been hand-carved into a stamp, an ohe kapala, used in the ancient Hawaiian art of printing kapa, a bark cloth softened through soaking and beating.

The patterns are intricate. The process is intentional. The result is something entirely your own.
