In the plant world, we’re know as Rooted Rarities. In the Card World, we are Rippin’ Rarities. A lot of people have asked, why do you collect Pokemon and not Baseball/Basketball/Football cards? It’s simple. Pikachu has never tore an ACL, got caught juicing, or been arrested. Therefore, if it was a good card then, it’s a good card now. A Pokemon card is something that (generally) holds or grows value over time, is fun to open, and doesn’t die if you forget to water it. Then the response is usually, but that’s for kids, you’re an adult…..to which there’s usually a moment of silence as they look at me, think for a very short amount of time and then completely recant their previous statement. If you find something you like, love, or simply enjoy, then do it. Life is too short, especially when you’re a fat arthritic poke-“man”
That being said, with all the bad in this world, if you feel it necessary to judge another based on what makes them happy, then chances are, you’re probably a c**k.
Don’t be a c**k.
Huge shoutout to and for ripping many gems in my collection, and keeping D and I entertained for hours on end when we need a break from boredom, stress, or frustration. They’re not only amazing sellers, but also genuinely good humans. If you collect, or are thinking about it, I strongly suggest watching their live shows.
Lastly, due to the horse s**t weather in Massachusetts, which is currently a balmy 4° with a wind chill of baby p***s. Most plants will not be getting shipped.
If you’re expecting Pokemon cards, you guessed it…..totally immune to the pitfalls of shipping and will be going out this week. If for some reason you’ve found your pokemon has died in transit, please remove the acid from your mouth and step away from the mushrooms before messaging us. Or send some here and we can mourn together.
Love you all. Chris (Carl) and Donna
