This beautiful home in dutchess county has such a long, rich history. It was an honor and a privilege to work on such a beautiful property. We also had a chance to meet the owner who is such a warm, kind soul. We were trusted to trim and shape the Boston ivy surrounding the home. It’s recommended to prune ivy annually in early spring before the leaves emerge. In the process, we trim back the vine significantly to maintain the desired shape and length. That way you can avoid overgrowth in any unwanted areas.
Fun fact: Did you know ivy can protect structures from water damage and help insulate them from both cold and hot temperatures?
