Perhaps we shouldn't worry quite so much about diffusing essential oils in our home (with pets) and worry more about the household chemicals we may expose them to on a daily basis.

Study after study shows that indoor and outdoor home chemicals such as cleaning products, air fresheners, fire retardants, treated lumber decks and lawn pesticides are contaminating our pets.

In an EWG study especially, dogs and cats were found to be contaminated with 48 of 70 industrial chemicals tested. Including 43 chemicals at levels higher than those typically found in people. according to their study of plastics and food packaging chemicals, heavy metals, fire retardants and stain proofing chemicals in pooled samples of blood and urine.

DIY All Purpose Cleaner with CW Deep Clean Essential Oil Blend
