A full log home uses solid log walls for both structure and style.
A hybrid home uses framed and insulated exterior walls, then brings in cedar, log siding, timbers, and other touches to create the look and feel.

At Ward, that means the exterior walls are framed and insulated, then finished with cedar log siding on the outside or another facade and T&G paneling on the inside (or drywall). You still get the cedar warmth and character, but with a different wall system than a full log home.
