We had the privilege of doing a Daikin High heat multi zone job. Also got to install these floor cassettes that I think are cosmetically more appealing in this 1840s house.  I take personal pride in making sure that we keep everything as aesthetically pleasing as possible especially when working on a home of this age. Homeowner is super pleased with the outcome and loves that I was thinking outside the box and pushed him in a direction that was different than what everyone else had suggested. We gave him a better product with a better look. Dakota Timberlake took my instructions and did a awesome job as the lead guy on this.

If your unit is sounding like this turn it to emergency heat until the ice can be cleared off. It is very likely it’s going to happen tonight. Not a bad idea to just switch it to emergency heat now and then clear ice off after the storm.

Not going to mention the company’s name that did this but they used a low voltage thermostat wire to feed high voltage to the common side of the fan capacitor. This is completely wrong. Don’t be fooled not all large companies do good quality work. One of the biggest problems with large companies it’s quality control. It’s impossible to have 20 employees and know that they all are doing a good job.

You want to know a big difference between reliance heating and air and the majority of the other heating and air-conditioning companies. Im doing a spring preventive maintenance check up. We thoroughly rinse or clean indoor and outdoor coils every spring. Most other companies wait for the coils to get dirty before they clean them. Think about this it’s called preventive maintenance what are you preventing if you wait for to get bad. If unit is slightly dirty you’re not running at peek efficiency. Our goal is to keep it clean and running at peek efficiency. Not wait for it to get dirty. Does you HVAC contractor clean every year?

Look at Friday’s temp. Turn your a/c on to test it out. Don’t wait until the last minute. If you have a thermometer check the temperature of the house and the temperature coming out of the supply vent. Should be around 18 to 20° difference. If not give us a call

How is everybody’s humidity feeling in your house? My guess is it’s pretty dry. We are running a special promotion on the April Aire 800 steam humidifiers for the next two months.
