Throwback to fall 2023.

The first room we completed.

We needed a space we could live out of and complete school during the day.

It was gross.

I didn’t even want to walk in it when we moved in.

However, Clint, being the talented guy he is, turned it around.

This room became our haven over the course of more than a year while our main living space was being renovated.

I would lie if I said there weren’t times I felt like I could scream from doing life and school out of one bedroom for so long.

However, I am grateful.

Grateful for the Lord’s grace in chaos. Grateful for a husband who had the skill to quickly turn this room into something great. Grateful for the clean space. Grateful for the peace and calm it provided. Grateful for the memories made. Grateful we have a place for Memom (and whoever else needs to a place to sleep). Grateful for all the Friday movie nights we’ve had here and the ones to come.

Consider how they grow 🌱

These seedlings needed more space to keep growing strong—so today we’re giving them room to stretch their roots.

Here’s what we’re doing this afternoon:

• Gently separating seedlings
• Planting deeper for stronger stems
• Giving them fresh soil + room to grow

This step makes all the difference for healthy, productive plants later on.

A quiet reminder that growth often comes with being moved and replanted. And it’s always for something good 💐.
