Right now, my nursery is bursting with life: Turbinicarpus, Epithelantha, and Pelecyphora are blooming, setting seed, and showing off the quiet magic of nature’s rhythms.

Growing these rare cacti reminds me daily—when we follow the earth’s natural cycles, not fight them, the most incredible things unfold. Gratitude for this beautiful, resilient planet we all call home.

🌱 Many seeds and plants are available now on my website:

Sulcorebutia crispata and Rebutia heliosa are small Bolivian alpine cacti. I’m starting to get a hang of growing and flowering these little cacti quite well. Growing in my climate, the soil mixture must be extremely well-draining although not necessarily “mineral rich”; they prefer small pots. I do need to be very careful of the heat in our summertime. Overall, they prefer mild conditions compared to most North American cacti.
