🎃 Before You Toss That Halloween Pumpkin, Read This!
Halloween may soon be over, but your pumpkin's gardening journey doesn't have to be!
Instead of throwing away your old jack o' lantern, give it a second purpose. Your garden might thank you for it! 🌱
Here's how to put those pumpkins to good use:
🍂 Start a compost pile. Cut your pumpkin into smaller pieces and mix it with dry leaves, straw, or shredded paper.
🌱 Feed your soil. Bury undecorated pumpkin pieces in a garden bed and let nature do its work.
🎃 Save the seeds. If you have a mature pumpkin, clean and dry the seeds for potential planting next season. Keep in mind that hybrid pumpkin seeds may not produce the same variety.
One small seasonal habit can help reduce waste and give organic materials another purpose.
Let's turn Halloween leftovers into garden goodness!
