This time last year, I had two full beds of ranunculus and anemones. This year I was a little distracted by our new baby. I didn’t even order the corms and I didn’t start any seeds either. Thankfully, I was able to buy hardy annual flowers from .blooms and at their joint plant sale.

The first bed has snapdragons, bachelor’s buttons, yarrow, ammi, dara, and nigella. All of these will need support, so I kept them together. I also added “hoops” and insect netting to this bed. It’s actually to keep out the chickens. The sweet peas have their own trellis. I planted statice in this bed too.

The original wild child is becoming the best big brother. Life is settling into a new routine and we are getting back to gardening again.
