The announced the 2026 Landmark Award finalists, and seven Kirksey projects made the list! The Landmark Awards recognize projects that “meaningfully impact the way we live, work and play in Greater Houston.” We are incredibly honored to be in such great company. Kirksey is excited to announce that the Aquatic Facility has won 's 2025 Best of Design 'Education - Kindergarten, Primary, and High School' award!

RRISD's Aquatic Facility was designed for maximum efficiency and flexibility, supporting simultaneous training for three high school swim teams and hosting UIL-sanctioned meets. In addition to competitive swimming, the facility accommodates diving, water polo, lifeguard training, youth swim lessons, wellness programs, and recreational use. The innovative, passively ventilated design accommodates air movement, daylighting, and radiant heating, and harnesses the energy and heating benefits of a CHP (Combined Heat & Power) generator, reducing energy use and cutting annual costs to roughly half those of similar facilities.

Congratulations to Round Rock ISD for its vision and commitment to the district's students and swimmers, and to the entire project team for bringing this high-performance facility to life!

Our Kirksey Dallas team has doggone done it again! It's time for the 2025 Bark + Build competition presented by and , and you can catch our entry, the Tug N Lounge, on display at the NorthPark Mall through December 21st.

Our team of dogged designers worked with Suffolk Construction, Wood Haus, Steel Fab, and M4 to create a doghouse that is both playful and cozy. Any pup who calls this house home has a place to run, play, rest, and recharge, with a double dog run that separates active and quiet zones.

Dog rope elements are both playful decor and interactive toys, adding texture and fun to the space. Every detail celebrates a dog's natural rhythm of play, exploration, and relaxation.

Stop by the front entry of the AMC at NorthPark Mall to see all of the entries and purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win your favorite build. Proceeds from the raffle go to the .
