Carnivero is thrilled to be hosting this year’s Texas Carnivorous Plant Enthusiast Show and Sale at Jester King Brewery in Austin, TX! We’ve been collaborating closely with TXCPE to make this year’s event bigger and better than ever, and we’re excited to finally open up vendor registration.

To ensure the event is a success for everyone involved, we’re focusing on creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for both vendors and guests. Rather than selling at the event, our team will be offering free plants and hosting sponsored swap tables. This way, we can help foster a fun and engaging atmosphere for all participants.

If you're interested in becoming a vendor, please email our team at [email protected]. Payment for booths will be handled by Carnivero, but we want to clarify that these fees are not for our profit. All you Carni addicts! See your passion come alive in a glass world of its own! If you’re near Houston, head on down to this unique event!

Our February meeting will focus on carnivorous plants and growing them in terrariums!

We’re excited to have Kim Bowden from Kiki’s Octopus Garden joining us to talk about carnivorous plants and how to grow them in bog gardens and terrariums. Kiki’s Octopus Garden carries a variety of plants, including aroids and succulents, but specializes in tropical carnivorous plants like Nepenthes, Sarracenia, Venus Flytraps, and Pinguicula.

Kim’s talk will focus on these fascinating plants—how to care for them and which ones thrive in terrarium environments. We are also excited to be meeting at the beautiful Hardy & Nance Studios!
