No cottage garden is complete without an ornamental tree dripping with blooms. This Angel Trumpet was a fall clearance buy and man, I wish I would've found her years ago. Its only been in the ground for 6 months and it is doing fabulously well. If you have a full to part-sun spot for a small ornamental tree, definitely consider this beauty.

Did you know that you can grow plants for bouquets right inside your landscape? If you plan correctly and plant intentionally, you can have flowers to cut and bring indoors nearly year round in zone 9. AND, you can set it and forget it by using perennial flowers that just come back bigger and better year after year.

In my own garden, these are some of my favorite flowering perennials I use for my bouquets. I usually mix in flowering annuals as well for a variety of blooms season after season.

If you are in the Houston area and want to learn more about growing cut flowers, please join us for our FREE workshop at on May 16th at 9:00. Registration is preferred but walk-ins are welcome! Www.nestandroot.com/local-workshops
