Didn't know hats with wood brims were a thing, but apparently it is along with other materials for the brim. Finish at 1/4 inch thick. My first thought when I cut them out was toilet seats but I think it will work out much better on the human head, not the toilet head

Just finished some very big brackets. Basically 8X8 sipo mahogany. 9 foot tall and 6-1/2 foot wide.

Had to butt joint and stagger the laminations to get a 24 foot beam, Sipo Mahogany, 3-1/2 X 7-1/2, put these countertop connectors in to help strengthen the butt joints. Exterior, painted, spanning a double car garage so they can have a arbor like thing stick out 3 foot from the house.
