College apartment board.

So my son initially said he didn’t want my help decorating his 1st apartment in college. Well about 2 weeks ago he says,”hey you think you can help me put my room together?” Oh so, you do want your Mom to help you!?!? I was on it. We already had the gray queen comforter from his dorm. I bought it larger on purpose so he could use it for a few more years. He loves the color green. So this is the main pieces going into his bedroom. He is a huge vinyl record collector and a big time reader. So the record cabinet and bookcase were a must. He can cover the walls with whatever posters and art he wishes. Can’t wait to see it all put together! In 13 days he will be back at College Station living his best life! 👍🏻

I custom ordered this French style table for our new house. I asked the wood worker to leave it unfinished because I needed more time to figure out the look I wanted. The new home we now live in is narrow and doesn’t have space for a designated dinning table. So I thought of having a table double as an entry table and a dining table when needed. Turned out just like I envisioned. Recently found the perfect stain and paint color to finish the table. But then I had the idea of elevating it a bit more and ordered these wooden lion head medallions from across the world. My husband nailed them to each corner before I painted them. I just love this detail. May look weird to others, but that’s the point! It’s a conversation piece. Buy the weird stuff! Think outside the box.

I was eyeing these stylish pillow covers on Esty for a few months. I pulled the trigger and ordered. You customize the size when ordering. They were just the addition my living room chairs needed. Beyond happy with them. So much style! ❤️ they compliment my new wall art perfectly.

Couldn’t be more pleased with our new “funky” faux fur throw pillows from ZGallerie! We painted the accent wall up the stairway with the color of the year for Benjamin Moore in the shade of Silhouette. Perfect deep brown with a smidge of gray tint. Our couch was custom made by Pottery Barn in a deep brown with a silver undertone fabric. Adding lots of touches to this area that will be our lounge tv room, music room, and bar area. We want a very moody feel with lots of unexpected decor.

Planning Mason’s summer/ holiday break bedroom in our new home. I want it to feel cozy, sophisticated, warm, layered, curated, and masculine. Here is what I have come up with so far. We are having the room painted this week in time for him to stay for Spring Break. The rich tones will instantly warm
